The Queen's Terminal Celebration

Day 9: We arrived at the terminal at Heathrow only to discover it was the anniversary celebration of the opening and dedication of the Queen's Terminal.  As such we were treated to getting to see Beefeaters, Royal Guards, and other regular attendants usually only found at the Palace or other royal occasions.  This was so much fun, and unlike at the Palace, they could afford to relax and goof around.
Listening to the orchestral pieces and the brass band.  Also the neon car the minions loved.

These guys right here helped keep the minions distracted while we waited for our flight.

We got a great video of what happened next, unfortunately it appears to be too large to upload.

Day 10:
The flight home was uneventful, and the final day of our vacation was spent recuperating from an exciting but exhausting trip.  First step...pick up Epic who missed us horribly.

Second order of business, going out to purchase some appropriate gear for Skoshi.  It is way too hot to wear long pants and shirts and while he makes an adorable baby girl...he'd probably prefer to not wear a sundress.

Then again, he seems to be loving it.

We returned just in time for the heat to hit.

Relaxing in the hammock.

Great day relaxing at home.  Reality has to return eventually though.
