Fall means Renaissance Faire Fun.

Welcome.  It has been a few months since I last updated our timeline.  Things have been very busy around here, and I'll have to get the posts from the last couple months up soon.  Many grand adventures have been had recently.  For now though let's go back to the adventuring archives/

So many of you know that Chubbly was not born in the usual manner or more accurately the usual location.  This has led to some people believing he was born in an elevator.  This is not correct, so to assist people in getting the correct idea, I present the actual location.

See where the grey vehicle on the far right is located?  That is where we parked.  You can see the glass door of the second picture just over the hood of the red car.  Now if you see the bench inside the glass doors leading to the elevators?  Okay, that bench, right next to where Chubbly is sitting in his car seat.  That is where he was born mere minutes after arriving at the parking garage.  I only had time to unbuckle and walk that far from the Dragon.

So see, there was no way I was going to get into the elevator, blech.  Now onto something else.

CICADA!!!!!!!!  Aren't these guys beautiful?

Oh, and a mouse we accidentally caught in our Brown Recluse trap.  He was still alive, so we set him free in the woods behind our house.

Just some summer fun.  Washing the dog and watching fireworks.

Chubbly is not a fan of bathtime yet.

Onward to the Rennaissance Faire, where we feel more at home and will be most of the fall.

A beautiful Princess graced us with her presence for awhile too.

Some mischief may have been had.

Surely not by her Majesty though.

Some Highland revelry.

Tug of War and spectators.

Doctors appointments with bonus shakes.

Chubbly and his Grandma Blankie.

Only evidences allowed by the hosts of a grand Gala both Humingbyrd and Hickory attended.

Meeting a great Dragon rider and dancing.

Training the Minions in their ride skill.

What a bunch of Crabby people.

Our first Cubbie!

Dash's Archery practice was hilarious to Chubbly.

worn out minions prior to Pirate weekend.

Quite a fine Crew me hearties!

Meeting up with Sir Robin Hood!

Becoming Knights of the Realm!

Watching the continuing jousting tournament.

Checking the dust on our feet after many weary miles trod.

Grins had to be scoped from head to toe due to medial community feeling like he was not growing well enough.

Onward!

Our little Musketeer!

Hanging out.

Brothers

Practicing to be good Papas.

Dash and Chubbly showing how tiny they are.

Visiting that Chicken place we love.

Yes we were those people with the kids climbing all over the play area.

Can't...go...further...

New garb for All Hallows Eve.

Thank you Granddad and Grandmom.

Grins actually continued wearing Hook until he literally couldn't squeeze into the costume.

He absolutely loved this outfit, and Dash loved Pan as well.

The Men.

Looking Cool Dash.

Final day of the Fair was on All Hallows Eve.

The general masses get particularly interesting when this happens.

Time to come people watching.

Oh and also root for our knight in the final Tournament.

Our knight may have fallen, but he fought honorably.  Time for riding home.

After fair snack time.

Modeling for the camera.

The whole Party is ready to ransack the neighborhood in search of loot of the sugary variety.

Our former Sweetpea turned Chubbly is dressed appropriately.

That brings us to the end of the tenth month and almost to the end of the first decade of the new millennium.  I believe the next post shall bring closure to that year of High Adventures.  Stay tuned.
