Five...First Quarter

In the ninth year of the new Millennium,

Month One
We stopped in to see Francois and his lovely wifey.  And then started to settle into our new lives.

Grins is a big fan of Oz-Dog, Oz for his part is tolerant of his affections.

BOOMER SOONER!!!

Cooking with Mama and burying brothers, just a day in the life of a Minion.

What do you mean there are supposed to be 2 Minions?  I swear you only have one.

Dash shows us his amazing sense of fashion.

Grins practices his gift unwrapping skills.  Hickory plays with fire, and roast 'shmallows.

Oz is a surprisingly good drummer, and a box of boy is surprisingly nimble.

Time for a little garden upkeep.

Now where did Hummingbyrd leave Grins...Illiyana seems to find this amusing.

Grins gets to enjoy his first snow with Oz and Dash.

He approves of this cold, wet, white stuff.

Oz playing fetch with snowballs, he is a really good catch.

Dash is also enjoying the snow.

Papa and Grins.

Illiyana looks on, convinced we have lost our minds.

You know, she may have a point.

Dash celebrates his 2nd solar rotation.

"Look! I'm Noah!"

Oh a quick 'house tour' of our new abode is in order.

Kids room, bathroom, dog room/porch/laundry room

Dash's dairy, soy, and rice free cake. Mmm.  Frosted graham crackers.

FTR:  Do not ever get off a bus for the National Cathedral at the signs pointing "to Cathedral".  You will get the arduous task of walking uphill for a few miles only to get there in time for it to close the sanctuary.

If you are lucky they will feel sorry for you and let you in to warm yourself before you try to find your way back home in the plummeting temperatures.

The views were worth it though.
Look Flying Buttresses!  Now time to freeze and race back down to the bus.

Second Month

Hummingbyrd was informed that a spot on her was to be removed before it went evil.  Unfortunately the Cleric involved did a slop job of it and it had to be addressed later.

Blueberry Bagels are a perfect first food for our minions.

Grins showing off why he is called that.

Lord Hickory went out of his way to bring many beautiful things into the house this month.

Illiyana and her new kitten whom she loves.

Some morning goofiness that's all.

Looking all serious now are we?

Grins is manning the entryway to our keep.   Who goes there?!?

After many years of faithful service the Moose moves onto a new master.

Sleepy brothers, Scrubby brothers.
Now off to Museum exploration and discovering what is so nifty about the greater local area.

A rumor is heard that a Everwayan Gate may be found somewhere in the vicinity.
Dash says he sees it...over THERE!  The squirrels are strangely avoiding the area...why?

GAAAAH....that's why, giant spider Monster.

Some sculpture fun.  Don't think that the coat looks very comfortable.

Despite his efforts to escape, Lord Hickory recaptured the escaping Minion.
Third Month
Dash successfully places a holy symbol upon his brow by smashing his face into the floor.

New train sets and celebrating Saint Patrick's Day

Poor Oz was losing his sight and hearing, but having a good time with us.

Princess Peach makes everything alright, a car ride without her is a horrendous ordeal, trust us.

Trying to make things look a bit classier than our station.  Not exactly succeeding.

Hanging out dudes.  Oz sadly was beginning to become aggressive due to his inability to see or hear the kids until they would startle him by landing on him.  We began working with some professionals to help him.

Sadly after several months of working with him (it was decided by all parties involved that for the safety of the Minions and for Oz, that he go on to become the Animal Companion of one without Minions.  This would be an extremely sad day for the Party.

These pictures bring to mind the song "Goldie's Last Day" from PFR.

While visiting the mythical place called IKEA, Grins tried out some of their magical items.

Time to do some more traveling around town.

Taking pictures next to the Memorial that was closed off to vehicles.

Studying the Core Rule Book with members of Nations all across the Sphere.

Wrestling with Papa.

My parents make me travel with them looking like this!

Cherry Blossom Festival.

Beautiful performances from Nippon...too bad we captured blurred images only.

There will be many more images of the beautiful Cherry Blossom starting next month.  Thus ends the first quarter of the year.
