TBT Into the Archives: Eleventh Year, First Third

Month One

Big boy haircuts for Grins and Dash, a new carrier for Chubbly.

Look out...the three  or four-eyed monster.
Dash reached level 4 this moon.

Dash and Chubbly hanging out.

The Three Musketeers love each other.

Grins wanted to show me his ear and that he could say it correctly.

Fun with the camera.

Grins tries his hand at bugling, he was actually pretty good considering he was only 2.

Watching Papa assemble the train set of doom for the first time.

Let's look at the birds.

Silly Illiy has found a new buddy, this is her kitten.

While watching us make potato skins, Chubbly tries to eat the hard 'potato' (plastic hamster).

Can you blame him?

Dino-rock.

Going to a real dog show.

Poor lighting, but Dash's leveling up to level 4 celebration.
A plastic golf set for our aspiring cow pasture pool player.
Yeah, we don't get it either, neither Papa or Mama are into this sport.

Look out world, Chubbly may be stubby, but he's adorable.

This jester hat fit his personality then...it does so even more now.

Look, it's the end of Month One.

Month Two:
Meet Gilgamesh, Gil for short, our Spotted Leopard Gecko.

He was sadly short lived, but you get to see him in all his glory before compaction took him.

Acting all innocent.

So bright and happy, Chubbly wanted an abacus...who are we to deny him?
Left: Sunlit got a haircut...the kids wanted her to have her fur coat back. Right: Octopus Garden.

Mmm yummy Octopus Garden and Valentine's chocolate chip pancakes.

Illiy imitating Phengurpeynt....and Chubbly time.

This month the whole party failed their constitution saves and succumbed to a nasty fever virus.

Hanging outside in the hammock was one of the only ways to relax.

Poor sick little minions.

Watching Gil was also therapeutic, he loved sitting on his very warm house mates.

With such a chillax little dude, how can you not feel better about life?

Looking good in their matching garb.
Their self-styled hair styles are something else.

Strong boys.

Over to a late leveling up celebration with Dash and Lady History.

First day of part-day preschool.

Chubbly checks out his elder Minions' clothing choices.

Papa has pity on the imprisoned and releases them to much joy.

Here be Dragons!

Knight training and Invisible Dragon slaying.

Relaxing.

Have hammer, will smash.

Month 3:
A sweet new PC joined Lord and Lady Navy's party this month, her adventure would be a one-shot session though, much to the heartbreak of all.

Tub time...Dash has a magical glow.

Headed back to the homelands.

Dash teaching Chubbly and Grins how to use the LeapFrog toy.

Mmm Raspberry Mango pie!

Pirate snuggle time.

Chubbly just being him.

There is a lot of scrubbing that goes on around here.

When getting a family picture doesn't work...just go with it.

Aviator Chubbly...and learning much to our surprise that Musket Tear is actually a girl bear.

Grins finally acquires new Armor Proficiency: Undies.  He no longer has to wear diapers or Pull-Ups.

Month Four:

Chilling with Lord History and Lord Hickory.

Silliness.

SAKURA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time to go see the Cherry Blossoms!

Lady History and Chubblies

Lord History and Dash having a blast.
Sunlit loves Lady History.
Of course, Lady History loves her too.

Chubbly is a big fan of the flowers, and of being on Papa's back.

Okay, so to show the difference between a Great Pyrenees and a Samoyed, we just happened to find a family with a a Samoyed at the festival.  So behold.

Sunlit should start her own fan club...she'd be known worldwide.

Chubbly and our neighbor.

Grins colored a cross in a rather disturbingly accurate way without knowing anything about it.

This is my dinosaur?!?

Soccer started early on.

Time to get ready to go camping.

Playing at a birthday party.

Lunch time for the bigger minions, and naptime for the Chubbly.

Nap and lunchtime done...and now for the playground.

Looking snazzy.
Tube time!

Mmm Friendly's

Aaaand some homemade deliciousness.

What leak?  I don't know of a leaky pipe. ;)
Lord Hickory decides he should probably fix it anyway.
Meet Kupo and Kweh.

Now I am sure you are wondering why we got a second tank of loveable creatures.

Well besides the fact they are stinking adorable.

Gilgamesh sadly died from compaction, we learned too little too late.  Poor guy.
We buried him out by the fence, and went back to what we know...dwarf hamsters.
Chubbly loves watching them in the ball.

Dash prefers the more snuggly interactions.

Then we went camping.

Happy Campers in the morning.

Part of learning to camp is learning how to properly set up and tear down your campsite.

Sunlit gets a 'lion cut', and we learned she can sunburn.  Whoops!

Easter weekend.

Easter Egg hunt!

Showing off their stashes.

The lioness, the Lady, and the lamb.

Grins has to use some tools to retrieve some of the eggs.

The Green Team.

The Blue Team.

Around the house.

Lord Hickory found and catches a Eastern King Snake living in our backyard.  This is a good snake to have around and so we were happy to show the minions.
These wonderful things eat other poisonous snakes like rattlers and also pests like rats, mice, etc.

At the end of the month we headed south to visit Lord and Lady Navy and to have some much needed Minion meetup time.

Chilling at their playground.
So many playgrounds, so little time.

E'Bella, J'Miah, and M'Nana were very happy to play with Dash and Grins.

So we dyed the tub water so we could play the next fun minion game.

"How many Minions can one Tub take."  It appears to max out at 6 on this round.

Granddad and Grandmom were there too.  Gail was very happy to see everyone in her short campaign.

Lap full of happy Minions.

Grandmom and Lady Navy instructing us all on how to wear floaties.
The Three Things.

Gail in all her sweetness.

R.I.P. baby girl, you will always bee missed.
