Day 2: Ten Amazing Years together celebrated by taking a train to Scotland.
Six hours on train? We have so got this Mama and Papa.
Trying to figure out if we have left England yet and seeing the Ocean from the train.
Beautiful countryside either way.
Wonder what that thing is?

Once we arrived in Edinburgh, it was too cold and windy for pictures, we located our friends and spent the evening hanging out together.
Day 3: Edinburgh and her Castle
This city is so beautiful, we just have to leave the links for the bigger pictures. So click to see them up close.
Visiting 'Bobby'
Rubbing his nose for good luck.
Hey look, it's where J.K. Rowling first started Harry Potter.
It took about an hour of the Library looking up to find out who the statue on their building was.
It's Caledonia and Her Children for what it's worth. "Take a picture of us with this pig Mama!"
We went to a Tartan Weaving Factory and looked at the museum-like exhibit on how weaving is done and its history. Then headed to lunch at the "black cathedral".
Absolutely loved getting to catch up with and talk with our friends.
Castle Time!!!!!!!
Coming to Scotland is a dream come true for Hickory and Hummingbyrd.
Seeing the Honours of Scotland was amazing.
Audio tours that are individual headsets or handhelds made this whole vacation effective. We can tour museums, historic sites, and even art exhibits and maintain entertained minions.
So the picture of the crowning of the king was taken just before seeing the 'No photography or videography within the tower or of the Honours of Scotland permitted.' Oops.
Ahh the inspiration for Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
Why don't we ever find a "Low Street" or a 'Sober Street".
Well once again we apologize if this takes forever to load, for those friends we visited, feel free to save copies of any pictures. We love you all. Oh and due to the size of the files, Hummingbyrd has agreed to limit each post of our vacation to only covering two days at a time.
