Forgot to Pause the Game...Month Four, Sixteenth Year

Greetings to everyone that had been following along with us until life swallowed us up as the campaign setting got incredibly busy. To that end, I will not have the time I would have liked to update the last ten years on a monthly basis. Instead I will once again be limited to slowly catching up a month at a time until I make it to the present day and the start of a whole new Campaign, settings, and Character lists. I suspect it will take me upwards of 125 days to get there. So, if you happen to notice a bunch of notifications from a previously dead blog...that is why. I have a goal and I can't wait to get there and keep going.

Just a reminder, we use this blog as more of a photo album that our friends and family, as well as our own kids can go to for referencing where or when a thing occurred. Someday I may be more of a 'highlights' type, but that day is not today.

For now, I really should finish up the sixteenth year into which Gurky joined the party and we began a four year session on the foggy coast of California.

First a chance to pet and hold animals they have never encountered as close. Starting with this amazing porcine friend. It was the month celebrating the minions of those that serve the warlord.

Then There was the holding of the Chickens.
And rabbits

Goats

School continues and fund is had using a visible prism, and Grins learning to cook his own eggs.

Self explanatory, but hey she's moving up in XP heading towards her first level.

She's catching up to Lark.

Photo shoots are exhausting, and siblings are sleepy making.

Cub Scouts: Expect to regularly see updates on the Scouting America prestige classes the Minions have gone into. Pack 135, thank you for welcoming us from Pack 13 with open arms once we crossed back over the pond. Here we see Dart as a Bear and Pippin as a Wolf, then hiding behind the chairs is Chubblies as a new Tiger scout.

Raingutter Regatta boats at the ready...wait, Lumpy you need to scootch and Chubblies, come back here.

Time for the races! While the Tigers were up first, I had to help hold Chubblies up, and missed taking pictures, the Wolves went next, so... Go Grins!

Then the Bears went, Go Dart!

Time for a pudding/pie eating contest...no hands allowed.

Dart was the only one willing to get really messy and try to actually win.

Granddad and Grandmom came to visit with grand gifts of quilted warmth each minion receives one that is designed and sewn by Granddad according to each minion's personality and preferences. Grins got Spiderman quilt. Chubblies received one regarding TMNT, mostly due to liking turtles. Gurky was very impressed with her Granddad.

Time to take the communal transport to the world-famous Aquarium.

Granddad better get his cameras ready.

Skoshi loved this fishie...and it loved him too.
Making silly camouflage faces.

Watching them in the wave tube was hilarious, watching them with the minions, priceless.

Watching them watch the water though, that was adorable.

Aren't Grandmom's the best.

Time with sweet neighbors.

Bathtimes

Strawberry pie is very refreshing, and homemade crunchwraps are awesome.

Best fruit bat buddy a boy could ask for and baby sisters are great.

Santa Baby

Grins and Dart made their own versions of this creature. Dart refused to pose with his.

Sunset Alert AWOOOGAAA!!!
